VBR Cookbook Rave: ‘Appetite for Reduction’
I know it may seem like all I ever eat are vegan cookies and pancakes, but every once in awhile, I feel like I need to keep my lady lumps in check. And it’s times like these, I whip out my copy of Isa Chandra’s Appetite for Reduction cookbook. It came out in 2011, so it’s a somewhat-oldie but hella-goodie!
This book has 125 recipes for low-fat, plant-based dishes that are full of flavor. Each recipe breaks down the nutritional value so you can get a better feel for just how healthy this tasty ish is!
My favorites from the cookbook so far (I haven’t made everything yet) are pictured above: clockwise – Caesar Salad with Eggplant Bacon, Manhattan Glam Chowder, Classic Chili with Fresh Corn & Scallion Corn Bread, and Spinach Linguine with Edamame Pesto.
Each dish was super hearty, yum to the yumth degree and fairly simple to whip up.
